Vilnius' Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park

 

Who can apply? 

Companies in the fields of laser technology, information and communication technology, space exploration, recycling and energy-saving, engineering technologies, health sciences, biotechnology, or electronics are applicable. Companies conducting R&D activities get priority.

Working space options:

Companies that fall under CERN incubation program criteria may use the working space for free. For other companies working space is not free, however, SSMTP offices come at a much lower than the average market renting price. Moreover, SSMTP residents get discounts for various perks for other services, including free Innovation, Business and Legal consulting as well as secretariat procedures. Also, they may use meeting rooms up to 10 hours/month for free. Lastly, the SSMTP community is granted access to various Sunrise valley’s events and the free coffee.

Incubation program:

The incubation program is 3 years long for each company. There are no restrictions for team’s size.

SSMTP offers legal services for company creation procedures. Companies may also use SSMTP’s address as their business address for 18,15eur/month.

SSMTP is a member of the LitBan, a member of European SMEs confederation as well as permittable to provide a CERN incubation function. We are partners with Lithuania’s Venture Capital Association, Practica Capital, Startup Lithuania, Vilnius University’s legal clinic, and others. Kaunas' Science and Technology Park

 

Who can apply? 

Startups that are willing to relocate and apply to Kaunas Science and Technology Park, need to focus either on Applied science research, IT sector, or the R&D activities.

Working space options:

  1. Startups that participate in the incubator program get a free working space for the duration of the program, which is ~2 months.  After the program ends, Startups move out.
  2. Those Startups who use a Softlanding service get a free working space for 3 months. After that, they get a rent discount for 3 years:

          1st year – 60% off;

          2nd year – 40% off;

          3rd year – 20% off;

In order to qualify for those discounts, the company needs to be established in the EU. Startups can have a team of up to 20 people. After 3 years, regular fees apply.

Benefits:

  • The ability for Startups to use Kaunas STP’s address as their company’s address with no fee.
  • Discounts for legal consultations in regards to the company forming process.
  • Innovative office infrastructure.

Klaipėda’s Science and Technology Park

 

Who can apply? 

  • Technology business;
  • Innovation creating businesses;
  • Companies working with R&D.

Working space options:

  • You may apply to get free co-working space(s) in the Telia Hub areas. Coworking spaces are appointed for an unlimited amount of time.

Note: Terms of use and the schedule must be coordinated with the administration of the KMTP.

  • Businesses investing in R&D are eligible for a 50% discount for working space. There is no limit to the team’s size.

Benefits:

Help with legal aspects. KMTP can offer legal help in regards of company establishment. Previously mentioned types of companies can register KMTP’s address for their company. A natural practice is that company then becomes a resident of the KMTP premises. However, there may be exceptions in some cases.

Help with innovative business development. KMTP combines a network of SMEs together with large enterprises. Companies such as Emerson and Omega Technology are not only KMTP’s residents but also members of various joint projects coordinated by the SGD cluster. The mentioned platform is also a source of valuable contacts, consisting of world-known corporations such as Schneider Electric, DNV GL, SGS, as well as some of the most successful energy innovation and logistics companies. KMTP count up to 200 partners containing universities, R&D centers, laboratories as well as government agencies. KMTP business support options are dedicated to energy, transport, digitalization, automatization, aquaculture, and blue technology verticals.
